Wine Country Tours will collect you from your Sydney accommodation, or from within the vineyards, in a comfortable air-conditioned mini coach.
On arrival into the Hunter Valley Wine Country, enjoy morning tea and coffee and light nibbles at a cafe in the vineyards.
Your host, Richard Everett, is the only Oenologist (winemaker) conducting wine tours in Australia and with more than 40 years experience in the wine trade then you get an insider's perspective into the Hunter Valley's unique wines.
Visit the Hunter's best cellars, where Richard will host you through comprehensive sit-down private tastings of their top wines, including some aged vintages not available to the public.
The itinerary for the day is flexible to account for your particular interests.
Lunch is at either the award-winning the Muse Kitchen at the Keith Tulloch winery, or at the Esca Restaurant at the Bimbadgen winery.
After lunch and further private wine tastings you will be returned to your accommodation.
You will learn a lot about fine Australian wines on the day from a real 'wine expert' in a very personal ambience.
